Primary Care Providers

Renny Abraham, MD

Dr. Renny Abraham was raised in Clarkston and graduated as valedictorian from Clarkston High School in 1992.  He received his undergraduate degree from Hope College and then attended medical school at the University of Michigan.  Dr. Abraham completed his residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak in a combined Adult Internal Medicine/Pediatrics program, and is Board Certified in both specialties. He continues to practice both specialties at Clarkston Medical Group.  He also spent time after residency teaching at Beaumont Hospital. His other interests include charity and missionary work. He has traveled on missions to Haiti and India and has started an orphanage in India, which he continues to support.

Mohammad Amin, MD

Dr. Mohammed Amin grew up in Bangladesh and attended school there. He graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1978. After an internship in Bangladesh, he completed a residency in Pediatrics at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland. Dr. Amin has practiced at Clarkston Medical Group for over 20 years, seeing many patients from infancy to adulthood. His areas of interest are child development, asthma, ADHD and behavioral medicine. He has two children and enjoys, traveling, and a variety of cultural activities.

Michael Baker, MD

Dr. Michael Baker was raised in Lake Orion, Michigan and graduated from Lake Orion High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Michigan and attended medical school at Wayne State University. Dr. Baker did his Internal Medicine residency training at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland in Pontiac and was chief resident. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Baker has lived in the Clarkston community for 30 years and has practiced in the Clarkston area for over 25 years. His special medical interests include personalized primary care and the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis.  As an internist, he focuses on the patient as a whole, providing and coordinating their care. He strives to develop and maintain long-term relationships with his patients. He has served in numerous leadership roles to improve health care provided by several health organizations. Dr. Baker has also received awards for teaching other physicians. He is the father of five, a favorite local musician, and an avid Detroit Tigers and Clarkston Wolves fan.

Robert Barnes, DO

Dr. Robert Barnes grew up in Colorado and moved to Clarkston during high school.  He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Michigan State University, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac.  Dr. Barnes is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He specializes in treating adults with chronic and complex medical conditions. He enjoys bicycling, photography and family.

Katherine French, DO

Dr. Katherine French grew up in Elma, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Nazareth College of Rochester in New York, and attended medical school at Michigan State University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, Michigan.  Dr. French is Board Certified in Family Practice. She treats patients with general injuries and illnesses, and those with chronic and complex medical conditions including diabetes and hypertension. Dr. French has a special interest in preventive medicine and women and children’s health. She enjoys her family, photography, cooking, and outdoor activities.

Erica Harding, MD

Dr. Erica Harding was born and raised in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Grosse Pointe North High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and attended medical school at Michigan State College of Human Medicine. Dr. Harding did her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency training at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her special medical interests include caring for special needs children. Dr. Harding currently lives in Clarkston with her husband and son and enjoys spending time with her family and pets, camping and cooking.

Christina Joslin, DO

Dr. Joslin is Board Certified in family practice, treating entire families from infancy through adulthood. Dr. Joslin grew up in Brighton, Michigan and graduated from Mercy High School in Farmington Hills. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She attended medical school at Michigan State University and subsequently completed residency training in family practice at Brody School of Medicine in North Carolina. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Joslin has special interest in sports medicine, women’s health issues, and preventive medicine. Dr. Joslin treats chronic and complex medical conditions including diabetes and hypertension. Osteopathic manipulation therapy is also offered for low back and neck pain, sports injuries, repetitive stress injuries and some types of headaches. She received the Governor’s Award for Diabetes Management in 2006. When not working, her interests include travel, cooking, running and spending time with family.

Lori Lajoie, DO

Dr. Lori Lajoie grew up in Plymouth, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and attended medical school at Michigan State University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in Mt. Clemens and is Board Certified in Family Practice. Her medical interests include preventive care and female medicine. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband and four children, water and snow skiing, traveling, reading, and exercising. She is also an active member of her church.

Dean Moscovic, DO

Dr. Dean Moscovic was born and raised in Clarkston.  He attended Brother Rice High School and subsequently completed his undergraduate degree at University of North Carolina. Dr. Moscovic attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his residency in a combined Adult Internal Medicine/Pediatrics program at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.  He is Board Certified in both specialties and practices both at Clarkston Medical Group.  As CMG’s research coordinator, Dr. Moscovic directs clinical research programs on a variety of common diseases and conditions, including asthma, COPD, hypertension, diabetes, osteoarthritis, and hypertension, diabetes, osteoarthritis and hyperlipidemia. In his free time, he enjoys activities with his family.

Timothy O’Neill, DO

Dr. Timothy O’Neill is a lifelong resident of Clarkston, Michigan.  He graduated from Clarkston High School in 1993 and attended Michigan State University.  He received his medical degree from Arizona College of Medicine and was the recipient of the Emergency Medicine Academic Excellence Award.  He completed his residency in Family Practice at Genesys Health System and received the Outstanding Academic Resident Award.  He practices adult and pediatric primary care at Clarkston Medical Group. He has special interests in sports and travel medicine. He is an advocate of high school athletes, believes in preventative sports physicals, and advocates for senior citizens to have access to health care. His hobbies include fly-fishing, biking, skiing, and hockey.

Kari Hoekstra, PA-C Kari Hoekstra was born in Wayne, Michigan, raised in Redford, Michigan and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Redford Union High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and then continued on to receive her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from there as well. Kari is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants. Prior to joining Clarkston Medical Group, Kari managed a Coumadin clinic and worked in an internal medicine clinic in Portage, Michigan. Her medical interests include women’s health and internal medicine. Kari currently lives in Grand Blanc and enjoys dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Samantha Myers, PA-C Samantha Myers was born in Flint and raised in Clarkston, and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Clarkston High School with honors. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Flint and received her graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from Grand Valley State University.  Samantha is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her special medical interests include weight management and she is the director of Clarkston Medical Group’s Weight Management Program. Samantha currently lives in Rose Township with her husband and two sons, and enjoys skiing, snowboarding, running, and biking.

Urgent Care Providers

Gregg Branham, DO

Dr. Gregg Branham was born in Dorton, Kentucky and lived in several places as a child. He graduated from Linden High School in Linden, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and atended medical school at Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Branham then went on to complete his internship and residency in Family Practice at Jacksonville Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He is board certified as a Family Practice Physician. Dr. Branham spent many years as a Commander in the United States Navy Medical Corps and is currently a member of the Navy Reserves. He currently lives in Rochester Hills with his wife and two daughters and ejoys jogging, bicycling, and reading.

James O’Neill, MD

Dr. James O’Neill is the founder of Clarkston Medical group. After nearly 50 years of practice, he has been voted the Oakland Press' Best Pediatrician in Oakland County two years running and the Clarkston News' Best Doctor in Clarkston. He continues to practice treating generations of Clarkston area families each year. Dr. O’Neill was raised in Williston, North Dakota where he grew up on a small beef ranch and attended a one-room schoolhouse.  At age 16, he left the family farm and attended St. Thomas College in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He subsequently attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class.  While there, he met and married his wife, Mikel.  Together, they moved to Detroit, and Dr. O’Neill completed his residency in Pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital.  In 1960, he was recruited by a local surgeon, Dr. Rockwood Bullard, to start a pediatrics practice in Clarkston.  In addition to his practice, Dr. O’Neill purchased the old Ford farm on Holcomb and started a beef cattle operation. After 50 years of marriage, Dr. and Mrs. O’Neill continue to live in the same home and have raised six children in Clarkston.  Dr. O’Neill continues to care for the community and remains active in a number of community organizations.

David Thomas, DO

Dr. David Thomas was born in Troy, Michigan.  He graduated from Seaholm High School and subsequently received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.  He attended medical school at Southeastern University in Miami, Florida.  Dr. Thomas completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital and received special training in trauma and rescue.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Michigan State University.  He currently practices urgent care at Clarkston Medical Group.  His hobbies include skiing, biking and time with family.

Dawn Turner, DO

Dr. Dawn Turner was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and graduated from Lahser High School.  She completed undergraduate training at Kalamazoo College and received her medical degree from Michigan State University.  She completed her Emergency Medicine residency in 1997 at Genesys Health System, and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  After working in the hospital emergency room for years, she joined Clarkston Medical Group and now works in the urgent care department.  Her interests include scrap booking, spending time with her kids, and travel.

Sholeh Vaziri, MD

Dr. Sholeh Vaziri was born in Virginia and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.  She attended Andover High School and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.  She graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1991 with honors and received The American Medical Women’s Association Recognition Award.  After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago, she stayed for several years as Assistant Professor, teaching and practicing primary care medicine.  She subsequently returned to Michigan and currently practices urgent care medicine at Clarkston Medical Group.  Dr. Vaziri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Outside of medicine, Dr. Vaziri enjoys various art projects, time with family, and travel.

Michael Williams, MD

Dr. Michael Williams was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina where he attended Broughton High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.  He went to medical school at the University of Michigan and completed his residency training at Mt. Carmel Hospital.  He was Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine at McLaren Hospital and Hurley Hospital before joining urgent care at Clarkston Medical Group. His hobbies include basketball, and time with family.

Meagan Haley, PA-C

Meagan Haley was born and raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Grand Blanc High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and received her graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.  Meagan is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her special medical interests include pain management, orthopedics, and women’s health. Meagan likes to travel in Northern Michigan and spend time outdoors. She currently lives in Royal Oak and spends her free time with her family and friends.   

Rick Kedzierski, PA-C

Rick A. Kedzierski was born in Bay City, Michigan, raised in Pinconning, and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Pinconning High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and received his graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Detroit Mercy. Rick is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. He has over 30 years of experience in EMS, urgent care, sports, occupation, family and emergency medicine. He has special interest in preventative and integrative medicine as well as office procedures. He sees and treats pediatric and adult patients. Rick currently lives in Bloomfield Township and enjoys bicycling, reading, trips up north and socializing with family and friends. 

Jenna Lakus, PA-C

Jenna Lakus was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin. She graduated from­­­­­­­­ Wausau East High School. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and received her graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine and Science. Jenna is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the AAPA and MAPA. Her special medical interests include pediatrics and preventative medicine. Jenna currently lives in Waterford and enjoys volunteering in the Waterford School District, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.

Gene Sullivan, PA-C

Eugene Sullivan was born and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan and graduated from­­­­­­­­ Henry Ford II High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and then continued on to get his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from there as well. Gene is certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants), and is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants. He specializes in emergency medicine and cares for people of all ages. Gene enjoys spending time with his wife and playing golf and guitar.
